The Osun State Police Command has paraded a driver, Elijah Oyebode, as the suspected killer of a female student of Osun State University (UNIOSUN), Rofiat Damilola Adebisi.
Rofiat was earlier declared missing last year December before she was later found dead on December 22, 2016 by the road side.
The police explained that Oyebode was arrested as a result of collaborative and joint effort of the Department of State Security (DSS).
The driver while speaking at police detention however said he didn’t intend to kill the lady, adding that he was also shocked when the lady died.
He said the she boarded his vehicle at Ipetu-Ijesa and while he started chatting with her in the vehicle he discovered she was a student but he later took the lady to his house in Iragbiji.
The Commissioner Police said Elijah would be arraigned in court without delay
