Most times it is always hard to know during a first date the effect you have on your date, some people might pretending they are enjoying the date with you while deep down they can’t wait to end the date while some may be enjoying the date and not give you a hint they are. Eye contact: If he makes eye contact and is constantly meeting your gaze or he is arguing to keep the conversation long with you it means he is trying to get to know you better, to deep into your kind of being and understand you but if he keeps avoiding your gaze it might just be that he is shy to hold your gaze and nothing more.

Talks a lot: People who talk a lot falls in two categories: the ones that pretends a lot tend to talk too much in order to show off about themselves and the other category is people who are trying desperately to hide the fact that they are shy, nervousness or hide their feelings. What you have to do is to take your time and find out which category he falls into, if he is so calm while selling himself off then he is proud but if he looks sweaty or is fidgeting while talking then he is the shy type trying to cover his shyness.

Touches you: Touching is an element of trying to create a physical contact with someone you like even if it’s on a first date it might mean he finds you irresistible.
Prolongs a date: If he starts prolonging the date, extending the time the date is supposed to end it might he likes you and doesn’t want the end to end fast.

Hints at a second date: If he brings up the subject of a second date even before the end of a first one means he likes you and want to spend time with you again but if he doesn’t even hint at it during the date then do the mathematics and move on.
