Lady's Birthday Wish To Her Husband's Side Chick

I Dont Think A Music Video Would Be Fun Without An Element Of Dance Or Movement Or Choreography-Kaffy

'Music Videos No Fun Without Dance' - Kaffy

Recognizable Nigerian dancer, Kafayat Oluwatoyin Shafau, popularly known by her stage name Kaffy, has applauded the growth of the dance industry in Nigeria.
The respected dancer in a recent interview noted that dance has grown in leaps and bound in the country and that dancers can now have good welfare security from the profession with good planning and understanding how to manage the business side of dance.
She told Nigezie, “The dance industry in Nigeria has really grown. It has grown beyond just popularity stunt. Dancers have started understanding that this is real, it’s sustainable and there is enough security in it to retire on their own terms. Dancers need to understand that the business side different from the art side. Understanding the business side of things, we’re still getting there.
She highlighted the importance of dance to the music industry, asserting that there was no way music artistes could do without dance and vice-versa.

It has been established that dance is a part and parcel of the entertainment industry. You don’t see music videos without some dance. I don’t think a music video would be fun without an element of dance or movement or choreography.
Even when the artiste does not use dancers, they would need somebody to coordinate them on how to look at the camera and how to act on set.
Usher didn’t just wake up in the morning and know how to do all that, somebody taught him. Who is that person, it’s a dancer,” she added.
Kaffy is best known for breaking the Guinness World Records world record for “Longest Dance Party” at the Nokia Silverbird Danceathon in 2006.

The Failure Of The Police To File A Counter Affidavit Would Elongate Seun Egbegbe Stay In Prison

Filmmaker Olajide Oluwaseun Kareem, more popularly known as Seun Egbegbe, will remain in prison custody, as his application for bail was put on hold due to the failure of the police to file a counter affidavit.

The prosecutor, Innocent Anyigor, informed the court that the police were unable to file a counter affidavit to hear Mr. Egbegbe's plea because the police officer who would swear to the affidavit was ill. "We have been served an affidavit but we are unable to file a counter affidavit because the police officer who is supposed to depose to the counter affidavit is sick. Because of this development, we will leave the matter in discretion of the court to decide on what to do," the prosecutor informed the court.
In response, the presiding judge, Justice Oluremi Oguntoyinbo, ordered the police to present any officer who would depose to the counter affidavit and subsequently adjourned the hearing of the bail application to Friday, February 24, 2017.

The judge said, "Since the matter has been left in discretion of the court, the court hereby gives the police till Thursday to file a counter affidavit." Mr. Egbegbe was arraigned alongside Oyekan Ayomide in a 39-count charge for allegedly defrauding some Bureau De Change (BDC) operators of N40.647 million, $29,800 and £4,815 at different areas in Lagos State between 2016 and February 2, 2017. The offense contravenes the provisions of the Advance Fee Fraud and Other Related Offences Act 2006.

Is big brother promoting immortality-Comedian Seyi Law

Hmmmm!!! Is Big Brother promoting IMMORALITY? Absolutely. Is it good? No. Is Big Brother entertaining? Yes. Does that justify the IMMORALITY? No. What are the organisers doing about it? This is as far as I know, the organisers cancelled the shower hours to reduce the level of obscenity and DStv gave us the choice to watch and not to, depending on you. What does this mean? It means watching is by CHOICE and not FORCE. Does that mean we can't voice out our opinions about the decadence of the morality in house? Of course,  we can.
Is it right to demand or rain curses for cancellation because of your own beliefs? No. If you don't like it, stop watching, others watching are not using your eyes. Don't be a moral bigot at the detriment of others entertainment. This is the reason  Christ did not force anybody to be a Christian. He is subtle in convincing you.
I know a lot of you have seen the movie, "Fighting Temptation" and we love the contest and all, why have our mega churches failed to replicate this sort of programme to edify God and promote talented Christians. Obama said, when they go low, we go high. Where is the HIGH for Christian as Big brother is going low? Is our HIGH in curses that we render thousands jobless? Ask yourself, what is the moral in that?
I am not trying to prove that I am the all knowing or omni knowest 😃😃😃, but I will rather be truthful to the failures in christendom than justify a Pastor's ignorance. A Pastor that can chastise publicly, must be ready to be corrected Publicly too. The same mantle of Priesthood on any Pastor is on me too through Christ who has called us all into ROYAL PRIESTHOOD.
Please feel to let the organisers of Big Brother know your annoyance on the moral decay and who knows as we achieved the cancellation of shower hours, we might win on moral uprightness. While we for that to happen, if you don't like what you are seeing, please change channel, no be by force. Dem plant your placental join big brother?

Dismissed Police Officer;Court To Jail Inspector General Of Police

Michael Agha, a dismissed police officer, on Tuesday asked the federal high court, Makurdi, to commit the inspector-general (IG) of police to prison for disobeying a court order.

Agha, who claimed to have been wrongfully dismissed from the force, asked the IG to explain why an order of committal to prison should not be made against him.

The committal was because of I-G’s refusal to pay him all his entitlements as ordered by court of appeal, Jos division on May 12, 1997.

Joined in the suit were the attorney-general of the federation and the Benue commissioner of police.

Agha in his affidavit filed before the federal high court, Makurdi, deposed that he enlisted in the Nigerian police force in 1977, and was unlawfully dismissed from the force in 1988, while serving at 13PMF, Makurdi, Benue.

He explained that he was dismissed because he wore a mobile police fez cap to the police headquarters, Makurdi on a day it was drizzling.

Agha said an assistant commissioner of police (ASP) asked why he wore a face cap when the then commissioner of police, had banned it a few days earlier.

Agha said he explained that he did not know about the ban, but that the ASP took up the issue with him which eventually led to his dismissal.

Aggrieved by the treatment, he headed to a Makurdi high court to contest the disciplinary action, but the case was thrown out.

Agha appealed the judgment at the court of appeal, Jos, and the it was allowed.

He said on May 12, 1997, the appellate court set aside the judgment of the Benue high court and ordered that he be reinstated forthwith and paid all his entitlements.

The applicant said all efforts to get the police to comply with the judgment had failed.

He therefore, headed to the federal high court, Makurdi, and filed a contempt proceeding against the IG and two others.

When the case was called for hearing, Tarfa Achinge, counsel to the applicant, informed the court that the case was for the hearing of form 49 of the judgment enforcement rules.

However, Achinge said he got information from Gabriel Ebonyi, counsel to the 1st and 2nd respondents, that there was a window of opportunity for an out-of- court settlement, and asked for adjournment.

Ebonyi, who did not oppose the application, promised the court that he would make further effort to get his superiors to comply with the judgment of the court of appeal without necessarily hearing the form 49.

Form 49 of the judgment enforcement rules filed before the court required the respondents to show cause why an order of committal to prison should not be made against them.

In his ruling, Hassan Dikko, the judge, told counsel to the 1st and 2nd respondents to urge the police authorities to pity the “poor applicant” and comply with the order of the court of appeal.

Dikko adjourned the matter till April 5, 2017 for report of settlement.

Aishat Buhari; My Husband Became President Because He Never Gave Up

The wife of the President, Mrs Aisha Buhari, has advised Nigerians to emulate her husband by never giving up on their dreams and aspirations.

She said her husband became Nigeria’s president in 2015 due to his doggedness, persistence and compassion for the masses.

She said this in Abeokuta on Tuesday in Abeokuta during the launch of a book titled, “Buhari vs Yar’Adua: Facing the future,” written by a Special Assistant on Media to the Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, Opeyemi Soyombo.

The First Lady was represented by the wife of the Ogun State governor, Dr Olufunso Amosun.

She commended the efforts of the author, who documented the legal struggles of her husband in the 2007 election petition challenging the victory of the late President Umaru Yar’Adua.

Despite Buhari’s legal struggles which saw him moving to Court of Appeal and to the Supreme Court trying to prove that he won the 2007 presidential election, he lost the case. But he never gave up his presidential ambition.

Mrs Buhari noted that the importance of record keeping or documentation could not be over-emphasised because without it history would be distorted.

She said there were lots of lessons to learn from the life of President Buhari who contested the presidential election consecutively four times before he eventually won in 2015.

She said, “There are lots of lessons to learn from the life of President Muhammadu Buhari, most especially his doggedness and compassion for the masses. President Buhari contested presidential election consecutively four times before he eventually won in 2015.
“His victory has paid off considering his passion for helping the masses and most importantly the successes recorded in the anti-corruption war of his government.

“I commend the efforts of the writer for documenting the Presidential Election suit between the candidate of the All Nigeria Peoples Party, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari and President Umaru Yar’Adua of the Peoples Democratic Party in 2007.

“This shows that the author has been following with keen interest elections held in the country and the petitions arising from them. In most recent shared views and writings on human and societal development, the investment made on other people gives tremendous yields; thus the facts and authenticity of the book are invaluable.”

The chairman of the occasion, who’s a retired judge of the Ogun State High Court, Justice Ademola Bakre, said Nigerians must all work for a better future of Nigeria.

While he lamented the rot in the country’s judiciary, he warned against interference and undue pressure in the affairs of judges.

He said, “I want to appeal that Nigerians should allow the judges to do their job, people should stop putting unnecessary pressure on them.”
Speaking with journalists after the launch, the author said he was motivated to write the 179-page book, which was divided into seven chapters, to forestall election rigging in the future in Nigeria.

Soyombo noted that Buhari was short-changed in the 2007 presidential election, adding that the book would “ensure that we have credible, free and fair elections and to ensure that the judiciary on no account, either by design or default, would endorse electoral robbery.”

The book was reviewed by Mr Kayode Oyede of the Department of Public Private Law, Faculty of Law, Lagos State University, Ojo, Lagos.

Kemi Olunloyo Is At It Again:Hell Fire Awaits Ambode Over Selective Justice For Pastors

Kemi olunloyo has blasted the Lagos State Governor, for allegedly taking sides in his fight for justice for residents and pastors in the state. According to her Richard Nyong of Lekki gardens, has been charged with manslaughter of 35 people who died in collapsed building, while TB Joshua has not been charged with manslaughter, for the death of 100 South Africans, who died in his church's collapsed building.
Here's what she wrote;

"#HNNInvestigates On August 6th my 52nd birthday #DailyPostNG asked me questions about pastors. I called Oyedepo a child abuser, Pastor Tuberculosis a "manslaughter king". TB Joshua was never charged for manslaughter of over 100 dumb South Africans who left their own country to worship with a Nigerian pastor in an illegally constructed building that collapsed and killed them.

Today Richard Nyong of #Lekki Gardens was charged with manslaughter of 35 people for the same thing--a building collapse claiming lives. So far two court dates and TB has never showed up or even compensated the families in his own case.

Once again SHAME on the Lagos state government for practicing selective justice for pastors. Hell awaits you Governor @akinwunmiambode. #FreeTheSheeple #hnncrime #hnnreligon"

Nigerians Are Known For Cybercrime,Internet Fraud,I Got A Bad Treatment In Kenya-Falzthebadguy

Talented rapper, Falz the Bahd Guy, has bemoaned the ‘shameful’ treatment that was meted to him by officials at a Kenyan airport recently. Falz spoke out during a sit down session with Moet Abebe where he recounted his unpleasant experience on his arrival in Kenya where he was allegedly discriminated against.
He said, “I was on holiday recently. I was with my guys. We were at the airport about to get into Kenya. Kenya o! African country o! They sent us to go to the side with Nigerian people.
“They just kept on saying Cybercrime, Internet fraud. That’s what we’re known for. It was disgraceful, extremely shameful.
“Obviously, it’s discrimination on a level because I’m Nigerian you automatically think I am a cyber criminal.”

Falz spoke at length on the sow about several issues, including the thrill of his father being Femi Kuti’s lawyer and how Simi has become his “musical soulmate”.
Falz spent time with the people of Maasai Mara in Kenya before heading to Tanzania where they paid a visit to a Tanzanian wildlife reserve.

Xenophobia: Nigerians Get More Disturbing Threat From South Africans

The Nigerian community in South Africa has said some of its members have been receiving fresh threats from some people in their host country.
South Africans in the last one week launched xenophobic attacks twice against Nigerians and other foreign nationals.
No fewer than five properties and businesses belonging to Nigerians were burned by a mob on Saturday, while 15 houses, either belonging or rented by immigrants, especially Nigerians, were been burnt by angry residents in Rosettenvile, south of Johannesburg, last week Sunday.
Ikechukwu Anyene, president, Nigeria Union, South Africa, on Monday, told NAN on telephone that some Nigerians received calls asking for payment to protect their homes and businesses.
“Some Nigerians and other foreign nationals in Pretoria West now live in fear. Some have started packing their belongings for fear of more attacks,” he said.
“They confirmed to the union that some South Africans were calling and threatening to unleash more mayhem against them.
“The callers asked for money to be spared the attacks. The union is worried about the development because the South African police are yet to arrest those who perpetrated last Saturday’s attacks.”

Anyene said the union had pleaded with Nigerians to take precautionary measures and remain law abiding.
He also urged the federal government to persuade its South African counterpart to put in place measures to guarantee the safety of Nigerians.
Meanwhile, the senior special assistant to the president on foreign affairs and the diaspora, Abike Dabiri-Erewa, has called on the African Union (AU) to intervene in the renewed xenophobic attacks
She also called on the South African government to call its citizens to order.
Dabiri-Erewa said further attacks on Nigerians resident in the country may have dire consequences.

Bracket: 'Yori Yori' Singer Fully Recovered From Cancer, Reveals Big Plan For Cancer Patients

Popular singing duo, Bracket are currently making efforts to raise funds to bankroll the treatment of four cancer patients abroad. This comes after one of the dynamic duo, Vast, survived ‘Lymphoma’, a type of cancer of the blood.
Giving an update on his condition recently, Vast said that he had fully recovered from the ailment as confirmed by his doctors. He, however, added that he was still required to make hospital calls for periodic check ups.
“My last checkup was in December. I still have another appointment later this year around May, that would the fifth time I would be going. The doctor said, after the fifth checkup, I should know that I am totally certified cancer free but I would still continue to go for checkup. The doctor said I am very okay. I thank God,” he told Encomium.
Speaking further on their plan to help sufferers, the singers revealed that their foundation already has four cancer patients, Folashade, Tolu, Gladys and Ronke in their plans to be flown abroad for treatment.
We have started our campaign. We had a concert sometime back but we want it to be on a bigger platform. We had a stand up to cancer concert. A lot of celebrities are already part of this campaign. We already have four patients we want to assist. A lot of people don’t have the money to go out for treatment. We want to stop people from dying from cancer. Apart from raising awareness, we need to build capacity to detect cancer early, treat people who detect late.

“We have four patients Folashade, Gladys, Tolu and Ronke. We need money to take care of these people. Their families need money to keep on surviving as well.
“There are a lot of NGOs who are doing free screening. In Nigeria, there are over two million people living with cancer. We are hoping to use the fund raised to support their families and to get treatment for the patients,” he said.

6 Things You Should Never Tell Your Friends About Your Love Life

1. SOMETHING HE TOLD YOU IN SECRET: Trust is easy to lose and hard to get back. If your partner tells you about a private issue ‘his mom’s breast cancer scare or a poor review at work for example’ keep your mouth shut. He has opened up because he trusts you and your ability to keep what you have been told confidential. You don’t want to break that trust,. Trust is at the core of any relationship. If a partner confides about the skeletons buried deep in his closet, it’s important for you to maintain this confidence. If not the secret runs the risk of being uncovered.

2. THE DETAILS OF YOUR SEX LIFE:   Filling others in on what happens on between your sheets makes your intimacy a group event. When you’re not having s3x, how often you have it., his sexual fantasies, the raunchy details of your intimate life should be kept under the covers. Your s3x life shouldn’t become someone else’s fantasy. Not to mention that by learning all about you and your partners likes and dislikes in bed, you put yourself at risk of your friend becoming the confidante and provider of those likes to your partner. If you’re having problems in the bedroom, discuss it with your partner. Otherwise, speak with a therapist who can help you figure out why you’re having these issues.

3. THE RUBBISH PRESENT HE BOUGHT YOU: It is the thought that counts. A gift is a gift. Be grateful that he thought of you. Did he buy you socks for your birthday?  Maybe he remembered your favorite pair got eaten in the laundry and was full of good intentions and efforts. Avoid bad mouthing him to your friends about his gift fails; they may never let you live them down. Even if this gift isn’t your taste, tell people that he was so sweet to be thinking of you, and that can never be faulted.

4. WHEN YOUR MOTHER IN LAW PISSES YOU OFF: Be grateful that you have in-laws. You never know when those words will get back to your husband..even worse, them, which could be quite awkward..and make him resentful and defensive. And that will only do more harm than good. Let him rationalize their unkind behavior, or set the situation straight. But telling anyone else who is unable to right any wrongs is wasted breath.

5. MONEY PROBLEMS: Maybe he made a financial mistake. Or he’s having money troubles. Or people are discussing how much their partners earn or who pays for what. Many people are sensitive and insecure about issues that make them look weak, especially when it comes to cash. So, it’s best not to cross that line. Financial details are no one else’s business.

6. THAT ONE OF YOU CHEATED: If you or your partner commits infidelity, keep this dirty laundry on the DL. The less players that are involved, the better. Whether you decide to stay together or split, don’t leave that decision to your mom or BFF. It’s your choice whether the relationship is worth salvaging and repairing or not. You know what’s best for yourself and no one really understands what dynamics are going on. And if you do stay together, you risk tainting your friend’s or family’s perception of your partner. ‘With something as painful as an affair, it’s important to involve a skilled therapist to help you heal from the broken trust and betrayal. To take things a step further, you could create an uncomfortable wedge in your relationship if you were the one to cheat. They’ll be left wondering if you’d go after one of their boyfriends or husbands.

Why You Feel Lonely In Your Relationship And How To Fix It

Being lonely isn’t a singles only thing. Some people (probably a lot) of people in relationships tend to feel lonely and those who fall in these category are women. Maybe her husband is a workaholic and he barely spends time at home and the things they use to do don’t happen anymore.
The four major reasons one might feel lonely in a relationship are
A) It’s common to feel lonely if you feel physically or emotionally ignored by your partner. If you dont believe that your needs are being met and that perhaps your partner doesn’t care anymore then it is extremely easy to feel alone in a relationship.
This can be related to feeling undervalued and unloved, and being insecure in the partnership. It could also creep in if you start to believe that your s3xual needs aren’t being met. This in turn can cause loneliness and create an invisible barrier between the partners.

B) Sometimes we can also become lonely when we long for something or someone else. If you don’t really know what you want in a relationship then you wont be fully happy and fulfilled. You must pinpoint what you want and need from a relationship in order to fully engage and embrace with your significant other.

Do you have some of the same morals or interests? Can you agree on things that are important? If not maybe you and your partner aren’t as fit for each other as you believe and that is causing you to long for something different.

C) Loneliness also occurs when communication is not honest open. You need to talk to your partner and let them know how you are feeling. Maybe your partner doesn’t realise you’re feeling unloved or unsatisfied. Mind reading is not a common skill and by stalling communication you won’t help the situation.

D) Relationships involve two individuals and if one of those individuals is going through a difficult phase in their life and it may create distance,. If you feel disconnected from your partner because of this you should strive to find how you could work together through this. Be patient and continue to be supportive of each other.
